Skanska and sustainability
Sustainable development can be defined in many ways. The most frequent definition is meeting the needs of the world today without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Contributing to a more sustainable world
In the 2002, our commitment was to incorporate corporate policies which included our Code of Conduct and our vision on the Four Zeros: zero loss-making, zero environmental incidents, zero accidents and zero ethical breaches. Today, the zero defect is included in the Five Zeros vision.
We are strongly committed to contributing to a more sustainable world. However, the ongoing implementation challenge is tangible and highly demanding; our success or failure lies in the hands of our people at project level.
